hi guys, i require a simple can crusher design which is to be done using solid works or auto cad for a study project. i have explained below everything in simple english but if any questions let me know. i know this is a very simple job for a cad/solid works designer and am aware of the approx. costs and as this is a very simple task, i need this 100% completed by: 28 april 2012
simple requirements for the can crusher are:
*material selection of can crusher: (its up to you)
* dimensions of can crusher: (its up to you)
* wall mounted
* manully operated by handle
* crush one can at a time
* capable of crushing average sized cans e.g. coke, pepsi cans etc
* crushed can will automatically discharge into a bin or sack without further handling (so need to design a additional mechanism which can help do this, simple mechanism either manual or auto).
* FBD (force body diagram)
* load paths and factor of safety
Drawings:
* i need single part drawings
* i need assembly drawings
* final 3d drawing of the can crusher
* All drawing sheets must have a standard border and title block with my given information and size which i will provide at further stage or when you need it.
I have also included of what single part drawings and assembly drawings are:
Single part drawings:
These are formal scaled orthographic manufacturing drawings giving all the dimensions, including size tolerancing. Notes are required regarding manufacture, material, surface textures and finish and any other notes and symbols which make up a drawing to BS8888 see BS308. Each single part must have a title and a drawing number and be treated as a separate entity. Single parts however may be grouped on a single sheet as a combined drawing. If space permits, single parts and assembly can appear on the
same sheet provided they are all suitably separated, numbered and titled. The single part drawing numbers will be DT2.6/1, DT2.6/2 etc.
Assembly drawing:
This is a formal scaled orthographic manufacturing drawing which itemises all single parts and sub assemblies appearing on the assembly and includes an itemised parts list. Sub assemblies, if necessary, will be the subject of further drawings. Ballooned leader lines should be used to flag the various items. The assembly drawing will have the number DT2.6 and any sub assemblies, DT2.6A, DT2.6B, etc.
