Require 3 x 5" Index Cards to be designed for new stationery product

Design details: Design of 3”x5” Index Cards used for To Do Lists and Making Notes

We are working on a product that will hold printed 3” x 5” Index Cards.
We are looking for the designs for the Index Cards that will be included in the product.
Our product will be designed to hold Index Card in portrait / vertical mode
The writing panel of the Index Card Holder will have a window of around 110mm x 76mmm, the Index Card will go in by sliding cards in top and bottom of the Index Card Holder (i.e. part of the top of the Index Card and Bottom of the Index Card will be obscured in normal use, but sides will not be obscured)

The design of the 2 types of Index Cards (To Do Lists Index Card and Making Notes Index Card) should:
• Allow the cards to be used in portrait / vertical mode.
• Such that it is printed with only one colour (the same design is to appear front and back)
• Be simple, easy on the eye / unfussy / uncluttered
• Not contain any words (other than logo), this is to make the product available in non-English speaking countries
• The design is to be printed onto 3” x 5” index card
• The design should be vieweable in a window of 110mm x 76mm
• Any font used should be Century Gothic
• If possible the “NoteShel” logo or www.NoteShel.com is to included

The files need to be in formats that can be provided to printers in order to be printed as well as file versions that are viewable on screen.


1. To Do Lists Index Cards
These are to be used to jot down daily to do list / tasks / ideas / notes and to check them off as you complete them.
The design should adhere to the principles above
The To Do List should consist of:
• Somewhere to place date
• Able to assign order / priority of tasks
• Space to write text
• A Check Box / Tick Box to confirm item complete
• The Making Notes Index Card should consist of lines or space to make notes.

2. Making Notes
Simple design for writing quick notes .
Lined 3”x5” Index Card adhering to principles above

Ideas for the visual style: Simple, uncluttered, easy on eye, bright
Things to avoid: Words that would cause barriers to product being sold in non-English speaking countries
