Re-design of my 2D simple shape

I'm creating a small object and I need someone to re-draw my existing design (attached). ( I will send the .ai file when the job is accepted)
Please see the attached saxophone sling. This object will replace the metal part in the middle. However, it will be made from wood, not metal, and therefore the wings cannot be as narrow as it will support the weight of a saxophone. The maximum dimensions must remain the same as on the .ai and those 6 holes have to remain in the same position.

We want something elegant and sophisticated and interesting so I'm looking for some creative input. It can't be pointy because it's going to sit on the chest, like a necklace. Our brand is all about design and fashion.

Something more feminine than masculine. There will need to be space for a logo.
