Professional Vector Designer - Graphics Designer - Text based design

Hello,

I am in the process of launching a webasite that sells art. I am hiring artists and graphic designers to create some of the variations that will be featured in the store.

I have some art files already completed and I will send you some examples from the competitors to get an example of what we are doing here.

You will be working with words/phrases and you will need to use manipulation of fonts and accents to create visually appealing designs for our customers. I will be hiring a total of 3 contractors to work on this project (job is posted multiple location)

An applicant for this position should have the following:
-Experience working with vector art files
-Adobe Illustrator installation
-Photoshop installation
-Large font collection or ability to obtain large font collection
-History working with fonts
-Fluent in English and ability to comprehend quotes in order to know which points need accented and focus
-Attention to detail

For your cover letter, please tell me why you are a good fit for this position and provide work that shows your competence in this type of work. If I think you are a good fit I will ask you to do 2 test decals for me for the interview process. All potential designers will be asked to do the same two designs, then I will distribute the test designs and ask for my contacts to choose their favorite designs. I will use the data from this test to choose which designers I would like to work with. If I do not hire you, I WILL NOT use any of your test designs.

To get a rough idea of the work, please check the attached file. The background images will be provided along with the desired text. You will create the design, crop the background image for optimum display, and send me the art file and display files.
