Logo character

Hi,

I am developing some educational material predominantly for schools and need a logo/character to be designed and illustrated in a series of poses.

The company name is Acorn Play Equipment Ltd and the idea is to have a cartoon ape (A.P.E Ltd) called 'Acorn' as a trademark/logo/character to identify the brand.

Initially, I would require one illustration to be used as a logo for letterhead images etc and four other illustrations using the same character in different poses, looking/leaning up, down, left and right. The monkey/ape character should be in a cartoon style, with a friendly face which would appeal to 4-8 year old children. It would be good if an identifiable acorn could also be present, perhaps used as a hat?

Preferred artwork format would be as an Illustrator vector file as the logo maybe scaled for future use. If you create artwork pixel based, a very high resolution (e.g. A3 @ 300 dpi) would be required.

I would need to own the trademark and copyright for the images/logo.

Could you please quote including a lead time for the work, and supply me with an example of your work (sketch would suffice) in a style you feel would be appropriate.
