Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: 1 day or less
Information for the business: We help people find ethical businesses
Design details: I am interested in designers with strong experience with infographics. I'm looking to turn the attached data into an infographic. The data shows the emissions generated by Australian electricity retailers in fin year 2015. The infographic will visually communicate to consumers which retailers are high emitters versus those that only use renewable generation. This is to be posted on Facebook and thus should be visually gripping within a newsfeed - ideally won't require expanding to see the primary message. Note, 90% of consumers are currently with the top 3 emitters and my business aims to convince people to switch to one of the zero emitting companies. Everyone that reads the infographic should be able to identify where their retailer ranks. The infographic needs to leave people feeling that they would rather be with a renewable provider (zero emissions) than one of the high emitters. I'd be interested to hear ideas and get an idea of cost.
Target audience: 25 - 45 years
Ideas for the visual style: simple, clean
Things to avoid: fine detail which is difficult to read
Preferred colors: clear colours - something bright to represent the renewable retailers and maybe with something darker to represent the emissions
Where the design will be used: facebook
Extra notes:
