Illustrator for Young Adults Fantasy Adventure Book

Design details: My 14 year old daughter is currently writing a novel. It should be complete within the next month or so and when it is, we plan to explore getting it published. It’s currently with a professional editor.

The book is a sort of action adventure - Lord of the Rings style. We’d like to get some illustrations produced and would like to have a consistent style throughout. The illustrations don't need to be massively detailed - essentially B&W line drawings but with hints of added colour either bold or soft as suits the tale.

We’ve looked at different styles and like the illustrations that Alan Lee did for Tolkien. As well as the drawings Tolkien produced himself. We also like the illustrations that Geoff Taylor produced for Wolf Brother.
We estimate we’ll need about 20 - 25 illustrations.
I would be able to afford to pay £10 - £15 per illustration, depending on complexity.

I’d ideally like to commission the first drawing for £20 with unlimited revisions so we can get it just right and we can take it from there.

We’ll need the final illustrations supplied as jpeg or png.

The tale is almost complete and we could send a copy, along with a list of the required illustrations. We would ask that you sign an NDA.

We would like to complete the illustrations by mid May 2017.
