Experience Level: Intermediate
Design details: Hi,
we are looking for an illustrator who can illustrate and design a new mascot for us.
We are aiming for a flat design that looks simplistic and funny. It is very important that it doesn’t look to realistic and rather comical and simplistic. It could be a flat like design a bit like the financefox fox (http://www.eu-startups.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/FinanceFox-logo.png)
Our mascot is a Dragon or a Dinosaur. It is difficult to know what it is. It is supposed to be a mix. The name of the company refers to a dino, but it is not clearly defined. So we considered it to be an animal that looks like a Dino or a Dragon (T-Rex like just longer arms) but without wings.
So effectively an animal that could be considered a Dino or a Dragon.
It is the dino or the dragon that is the helper of all people that locked themselves out and are in need of somebody that opens the door again.
So the tail could be the door opener / key. So the spikes of the tail could be like a key at the end.
It is the funny looking saviour of people that have locked themselves out.
Colourwise we are pretty open. We are aiming for pastel colours on our website and hence thought that contrasts could be good. But considering that we don’t have a definite colour scheme the mascot could define the rest.
I don’t know how you usually work, but we thought that we could start with some sketches to begin with to find the perfect design.
To find the perfect designer we want to work in two stages. The first milestone is to create some scatches, if we find the perfect one we go on with the final design.
