Experience Level: Intermediate
Design details: Our clothing brand is inspired by the demon Naamah (not the other Biblical figures with the same name). We need drawings inspired by her to print on black clothing only. Therefore the drawing should be white on a black background, please see samples.
The brand Blackcraft has been an inspiration to us, see url below.
We all have an idea of what Naamah looks like, sadly we're all terrible at drawing, therefore we have no clear examples, only a description.
We understand results can vary as you'd work of a description only. Therefore we suggest you give us a description of what you plan to do first and you keep us updated, send us sketches of what you're doing, so we can give suggestions during the process. If your and our visions are too different to finish the image, half of the agreed-on payment is yours to keep.
Payment can vary from 60-160 euro depending on the detail of the image (will be discussed once idea is pitched to us).
As for Naamah, she's basically a beautiful, wayward demon with loose morals. Her name is thought to mean "charming" or "pleasant", a reference to her desirability to men. Like most of her type, she is made stronger by water, especially salt water, sexual desire and other impure thoughts. Naamah was Adam's second wife. His first wife was Lilith. While Adam was made from pure earth, Lilith was made from filth and sediment, therefore she couldn't be a mate for Adam. Adam wanted Lilith to be submissive, Lilith refused and she went to live by the Red Sea and became the mother of all demons.
God then made a second wife; Naamah. This one he made from scratch in front of Adam, in order to meet Adam's specifications. He started with the bones, organs, then the muscles, blood, et cetera and by the time God was finished, Adam was so disgusted he wanted nothing to do with her. Naamah was banished to the banks of the Red Sea and lived with Lilith.
After Cain kills Abel, Adam is so horrified by his children that he refuses to sleep with Eve for a 130 years. During this time, Naamah comes to him in his sleep and, preying on his dreams, impregnates herself.
According to sources outside of the Bible or works of Jewish mysticism, Naamah possesses young women 'to have fun', her idea of fun being activities such as casual sex, violence, murder, stealing, et cetera.
According to most sources she has long black wavey hair and fangs/pointy teeth.
