Homepage redesign and navigation bars

I am currently having a website built but am unhappy with the design of the homepage and navigation through the site. I require a new homepage design in jpeg format for my web programmer to intigrate in to the site and a bar design to show the steps through the site. The site is called garageadvisor it is an online directory of car repair garages with the usp of people being able to send one job request to multiple participating garages to have them quote them. because of concentrating on the codeing the design has been overlooked. I am looking for something more light and sleek, but which shows how the site works instantly
