Heavy Metal band logo

I am looking for a designer to create a band logo for me and my friends. We are creating a death/doom metal band and seeing as none of us have any designer skill we would hire someone! If you have had Jobs similar to this that would be great, although it is not a must. We are looking for a logo that will fit on banners, posters and t-shirts. We imagine the logo to be a text logo with a mascot that goes along with it, think Iron Maiden, Misfits, Megadeth etc. The only other demand we have is that it is viking themed.
