Flash Animator / Designer

The Role: Working with us on a freelance basis.

The role will involve the creation of adverts using Flash. We will provide all the necessary elements that would be needed for the adverts: images, text, video and sound. The Flash Animator/Designer will be required to use their creativity to tie these assets together and have them work together cohesively in a finished advert. Successful applicants will need to demonstrate both quality and speed in the work they produce.
Other duties may include the creation of new animated advert templates that would be used within our advertising system and other flash-based development tasks.

Location: Based at home, apart from occasional meetings at our main office in central London. Preferred applicants would reside in London.

Skills/Experience: The successful applicant requires an advanced understanding of Flash and animation. Action Script programming experience isn’t essential but a bonus. A strong base in graphic design will be needed – so that colour and balance with design choices will be second nature. An understanding of additional software packages like Adobe Premiere, After Effects or Final Cut equivalents also helpful. Most of the designers work will include video, so an understanding of video editing would improve performance.

Training: There is an initial required training period as the adverts need to be put through our system. This will be in the form of 3 days at our main office.
