Enhancement of existing logo

We are looking at an upgrade to a prototype logo design we have had done (attached).

We need this turned into a professional looking logo; at the moment we fine it has no substance. We’d like the design to be a bit more gloss, and potentially a 3D feel to it. An example of one we like is the apple logo:

It should be a clear (transparent) background – i.e. ignore the black in the attached logo. The colours can be tweaked to fit the design principle.

Our criteria for this will be:
• We retain the copyright for this work
• We are happy for example to be submitted with a watermark, but we won’t be able to pay the funds unless it reaches the quality we will require.

We will be looking at requiring quite a few web and app icon designs in the coming months required for a new website/app, so we will be looking for the potential for a lot of repeat work if both sides are happy.
