The Candidate
Our ideal Interactive Designer candidate is creative, energetic, and has a passion for demonstrating skill and precision in his/her work. This is a broad and challenging role that offers the right person an opportunity to contribute to rich media technology and online advertising.
You will work with the Creative Director and Project Manager to develop campaign ideas and bring them to life in large format interactive ads with features like videos, games, and social media integration. In particular, the Interactive Designer works closely with the Sales team for day-to-day campaign creation, revisions and timely delivery.
The candidate should be experienced with user interface design, graphic design and Flash/AS3 development & animation. The candidate is expected to be able to drive the creation of the new ad campaigns which might include but will not be limited to mock-up creation, banner ad creation, video processing, and enhancements to existing assets from prototype, wire frames, comps, or other high-concept documents to a finished product. Position also includes basic video editing.
Good project / time management skills are essential, as is the ability to translate an idea or concept into visual reality efficiently and effectively. An understanding and passion for advertising, brands and digital is also expected.
Job Requirements
Core Competencies:
• Keen eye for design and motion with acute attention to detail.
• Work experience Designing/Developing:
o For Flash Player v8-9.3,
o Using the Flash 8-CS4 authoring tools or later
• Fluent in Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, PowerPoint
• Experience in Macromedia flash and ActionScript is highly desired; HTML is a plus
• Work experience with video editing and post-production a plus
• 2+ years experience as an Interactive Designer (advertising focus preferred)
• Must be able to independently take projects from concept to finish
• Work well under pressure and able to meet aggressive deadlines; Able to switch rapidly between different projects in a fast-paced environment.
