Design a vintage/retro style logo for a freelance makeup artist!

A logo for a freelance makeup artist. The theme I aim for is a retro vintage feminine style paying attention to vintage font and the classical vintage /retro colours and shape. Or it could be a silhouette of a women whereby the Letter "D" for Doll Face ( company name ) is a side shot of a women applying lipstick ? It does not have to be exactly retro;' need a elegant yet catchy logo . Makeup is creativity so I want this logo to reflect it!

Am open to ideas and suggestions to make my idea much more unique.
