Description
Experience Level: Expert
We are seeking a talented and experienced freelance decal pattern designer to collaborate on the development of a versatile and cohesive pattern series for our upcoming porcelain tableware collection. This series will be applied across a wide range of pieces, including:
Tea and coffee cups with matching saucers
20 cm and 27 cm plates
Decorative and functional jars in two sizes
Teapots
Ashtrays and additional complementary items
Project Overview:
A sample design will be provided to serve as the creative reference point.
The selected designer will be responsible for creating a comprehensive decal pattern series that adapts seamlessly across all product formats.
Strong ability to work within a mix & match concept is crucial—combining colors, patterns, and textures harmoniously to create a visually engaging collection.
This is a project-based, remote collaboration, with the potential for long-term engagement based on the success of this initial partnership.
The creative process will involve multiple rounds of revisions to refine the designs to production-ready quality.
Ideal Candidate:
Demonstrated experience in decal pattern design for ceramics, porcelain, or tableware
A strong portfolio showcasing pattern development and application across varied surfaces
An eye for detail, color harmony, and design consistency
Collaborative, responsive, and open to feedback throughout the design process
If you are passionate about surface design and excited to contribute to a unique porcelain collection, we would love to review your portfolio and past relevant work.
Please submit your application along with examples of your work. We look forward to discovering your creative vision!
