Create some Infographics

Estimated duration: delivery by 9am (UK time) Monday 2nd September.
Description: I have some information, supporting a written article, which is in the form of an overlaid map, showing the location of an earthquake plus suppliers (and their relationships) for a manufactured product - plus financial values associated with that product.
I would like a more effective way of displaying that information in a modern, eyecatching, style - whilst conveying the information in as simple a way as possible for the intended recipient to 'scan' read.
Much of the work will be understanding what we're trying to convey. You then should translate this into an effective infomatic diagram which we can use in print and online.

We will obviously need a better map, I have a small budget for an istockphoto or other royalty free graphic here, should you feel this is more effective than creating a simplified map yourself.
