Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Firstly, I am NOT Interested in programmers, joomla, wordpress or any of that. so PLEASE do not bid if that is what you are offering!!!
What I am looking for is someone who can use photoshop (or similar) and knows how to format web pages and position icons using Css.
The website (being developed by me) has a logo and colours.
I have another website needs to be reskinned for want of a better description.
So you need to take the icons and recolour them and save them as a new name. So say we have blueIcons.png. Make the same thing (for example) and this could be aquaIcons.png.
Then all the colour scheme for the rarotonga site needs to be changed to use the new icons and a new set of colours. I am thinking aqua/brown as the colours but we will discuss and finalise this before you start. I have other sample sites.
Another task is the main menu for both sites. The icons are all seperate. I need these put into 1 png image and then use css positioning to put them in the correct location.
So to be awarded this job you need to be able to do Css and Photoshop and complete the above tasks.
I am interested in recolouring the whole website, so it would be great if you have a flair for colours and what excites travellers.
I am also interested in changing the layout of pages - as all the content has just been dropped on there by me, so just as a programmer sees it. So if you have some User Interface experience and can add value (in other words tell me how and why the layout can be changed) then as a second job to the first job I would be interested in commissioning that work to.
Thanks for taking the time to read through this. Please ONLY apply if you can fit the bill.
I need a pretty immediate start on this. Like today/tomorrow.
I imagine it would only take a good designer 2-3 hours to come up with a new colour scheme and to recolour the icons and do a global replace on the hex values of the colours in the css and icon file names.
