Children’s Book Illustration Project (Ages 8–16) Needed

We are recruiting experienced illustrators for structured creative assignments focused on children’s book storytelling. The project requires engaging, expressive visuals that align with narratives suitable for readers aged 8–16.
Scope of Work:
Full set of interior illustrations (character scenes, environments, and storytelling moments)
Front cover illustration (visually compelling and age-appropriate)
Back cover design (complementary artwork with balanced composition)
Art Direction:
Style: Semi-realistic or stylized illustration with clear character expression and storytelling clarity
Color Palette: Vibrant yet balanced tones for ages 8–12; slightly refined, richer tones for ages 13–16
Lighting: Soft, natural lighting with warm highlights; use contrast to guide focus and mood
Composition: Clean layouts with strong focal points to support readability and engagement
Technical Specifications:
Canvas Size: Standard book size (e.g., 8.5” x 11” or A4, portrait)
Resolution: 300 DPI (print-ready)
Format: PSD/AI (layered source files) + high-resolution PNG/JPEG exports
Requirements:
Strong experience in children’s book illustration
Ability to follow art direction and maintain consistency across pages
Submission of portfolio or relevant samples required
