Description
Experience Level: Entry
I need a sewing pattern specialist who understands sewing patterns, to digitally regrade vintage sewing patterns into sizes 8-18 (as a nest of sizes).
I NEED SOMEBODY WHO IS EXPERIENCED AND HAS AN EYE FOR DETAIL. WE HAVE A LOT OF WORK FOR THE RIGHT PERSON.
We have the size chart for you to work from.
The different size plotted lines are to be identified clearly.
If there are minor inacuracies, as they are vintage patterns and you have the skills to correct them accordingly.
Some of the patterns are unprinted (shaded pattern pieces, not the traditional lined pattern), so would need carefully lined tracing plotting out first.
You must have the skills to ensure that all the pieces fit together and e.g. darts etc are taken into consideration.
Some patterns would need seam allowances included so the customer can identify clearly.
Patterns would be in full scale to fit onto A0/A1 paper so that I can print them on a large format printer and saved as a PDF and ai file.
From the pattern you have regraded (nest) you will be required to create A4 size artboards ready to download so that the customer can print at home on a domestic printer, saved as a PDF file.
3D model of pattern cover- (not included in budget) to be discussed and agreed a price.
The first sample is the finished graded nest completed IN A0 SIZE FULL SCALE.
The second sample is the original sewing pattern.
The third sample is part of the A4 graded nest.
WE HAVE A LOT OF patterns to be completed in this way FOR THE RIGHT PERSON.
