UK and EU trademark registration help needed

I have a new product and need to register the name/logo as a trademark through the UK and EU. I’m totally new to this and I’m looking for someone preferably based in the UK who can help with the entire process.
I will need to know how long the process will take, the costs aswell and and pitfalls and potential risks we could encounter etc
If this is something you do regularly and have the time to do this please be in contact. I already have a quotation from a local company however I prefer to use individuals where possible. I have just put the budget at a random figure. The fixed price will be negotiated between ourselves once we have gone over everything in full detail so we both know exactly where we stand.
