I'm looking for a program / parts to control a light in a disabled bathroom, We would like to have the light switch on when the door is opened (with reed switch) and then once closed the light stays on.. We would like the light to stay on until the door is opened again (maybe with a short delay so it doesnt turn off stright away to allow time to leave the bathroom) we have tried PIR which works great however the lady of the couple can spend hour or more in the bath and the light keeps turning off, have also thought about basic timer so triggered and light stays on for an hour, but this would mean lights being left on for an hour with each visit to the bathroom, hope you can help thanks In advance

Hi Ryan
Have a look at occupancy sensors rather than PIR sensors, Smart buildings use them all the time to detect if someone is in the room (not movement dependent) -

Hi Ryan, i am ready to perform this task for you, as i already got experience in Internet of Things. Kindly let me know that how much you are willing to pay for this?
Thank you!
Kind Regards,
