Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Hello,
I would like to make a timer that is triggered by an accelerometer. Basically, any time the accelerometer feels movement, I would like the timer to restart. The timer should be programmable so that I can add 5 second intervals and minute intervals. There should also be clear, reset, and start/stop buttons. When the timer goes off I would like for it to light up and make a beeping sound. If possible/cost effective, I would like the accelerometer to be programmable so that the sensitivity to movement can be adjusted. If it is not possible or cost effective, can you recommend a way to prototype this circuit (maybe on arduino?) so that I can predetermine the sensitivity level? Please give an hourly estimate for the design.
Thank you,
Alex
