Refine two fixed width fonts to meet customer specification

This project is to help make refinements to some fonts I had requested to be created as a separate project.

I have been working with a font designer who was contacted to help us build and refine some fonts for a customer. Until recently the contractor has been responsive helping us build the following two fixed width fonts
• 7x9
• 10x14

These fonts are to replicate fonts built into a printer (Intermec printer) as True Type Fonts so labels can be printed out identically on other printers.

The design of the fonts is good, the problem is that we have spacing issues with the 7x9 and 10x14 which is where I need the help. The existing contractor appear to have personal issues and has stopped responding which is preventing us from refining the fonts to the customer specification. I attach the original explanation and the current issues we need need to refine in two of the fonts

Beyond this initial resolution for the three fonts we have some other fonts we will need to refine which would be treated as separate work once we have closed off fixing these two fonts.

The delivery is to make both True Type Fonts match the output that comes from the Intermec Printer. This will require working with one of my team in Singapore where the customer is based to get the fonts to match.

I have attached the original brief, and then the latest feedback that we need to correct. You will see that spacing is not identical and that is the goal so that the Intermec and TTF font appear identical in the test output.
