Description

Experience Level: Intermediate
I have a short description of a utility patent I want to apply for asap.
I need somebody to help me file it.
I have an account with USPTO but I am not a lawyer and for user am not able to write the perfect texts.
I have made designs but agin they need to be reviewed and corrected where necessary plus am sure the description and presentation need a lot of improvements.
Can you assist me asap and how long do you believe it could take you?

    Why are you requiring an NDA?

    A patent professional or lawyer would have an automatic duty of professional confidentiality, so you would not need one if you work with a professional.

    Worse, the NDA would stop a professional from doing the job - the NDA prevents them from submitting a patent application!

    If you want to repose the job without an NDA, I'll take a look. Otherwise, I cannot help and you may only be attracting offers from unqualified people

    I do definitely want a signed NDA and obviously the reason I try to get assistance here is to avoid being spammed by lawyers who will not need an NDA (obviously) but will want to help me solving my issues (they generally created) and charge me over and over again which I start to believe I can avoid by using people with less title and as much (sometimes more) knowledge of what in fact is needed and I believe they won't systematically (over)charge me again and again. Filing patents and TM is not rocket science, I just don't have time and enough experience to do it 100% myself.
    I should maybe have mentioned I don't expect legal/patent offices to respond/propose, nonetheless I want to thank you for your response and free legal opinion.

I am not licensed to practice before the USPTO, as my profile states I am a European and United Kingdom Patent Attorney. You need to clarify what you require, ie do you want a patent specification prepared (drafted) do you also want the application filed in the USPTO? You appear to be based in the UK so filing first in the USPTO is at least unusual unless your business plan has some particular reason for filing first in the USA. A USPTO first filing will be significantly more expensive than a first filing in the UK. Do you actually want to file first in the USPTO?

    For some reasons I appeared as being in UK but I am based between USA and Turkey, no connection whatsoever with UK and not aiming to file there. I will reply to all the offers I received.
