Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Information for the business: We sell solid wood furniture
Design details: OK, I am looking for a talented furniture designer to come up with some designs for new wood furniture products.
We are a new company who have products made abroad to our design and then sell them into the UK.
To start with there will be one range to design for. More details on the concept of this will be provided privately but basically it will be MAINSTREAM appeal (not quirky design) and appeal to the 18-50 age range mainly. The items in the range will be 1 Coffee Table, 1 TV cabinet, 1 book case, 1 nest of tables, 1 sideboard. (5 products).
I will provide measurements of the furniture to you, your job is to produce a final concept drawing for each product. The material used for all products is solid oak. I can provide an image example for each piece also. Your job is to revamp the design slightly so it is unique to us.
I will provide some images for style inspiration by message.
Please only apply for this job if you are a talented designer with experience in furniture design and of producing good quality product concept drawings. I can arrange the technical side to the manufacture (eg/ how we make the item). We will own the designs once we have paid for the drawings. We may or may not make the items, it is an experiment for us into designing our own items rather than using readily available specs.
You MUST have prior feedback of other successful design briefs. thanks
Ideas for the visual style: oak furniture land - but better - chunky but graceful designs
Where the design will be used: Living Room furniture
Extra notes:
