Description
Experience Level: Entry
Estimated project duration: 1 day or less
Information for the business: We're a training provider
Industry: Education
Design details: I had a set of portrait photos taken and unfortunately they are varying sizes. I need them to be resized and cropped.
More details:
There are two photos of 30 people (ie. 60 total). One is a formal business shot, the other shows the same person display items/wearing clothes that represent their hobby. Please see attachments for examples.
Eventually, the two photos will be on our website, the formal photo displayed initially, and then revealing the 'hobby' shot when the user rolls over the image. Therefore, the two images need to align. There is an example of how this works at http://www.solvovir.co.uk/about-solvo-vir-2/ - scroll down the page to view.
I would like each of the thirty people's two photos both cropped at about chest height, and matched to the corresponding 'hobby' shot. If the crop means that the 'hobby' items are not seen adequately, then the crop can be less, but ideally we want only chest level upwards. I'd suggest that the eye level and position be matched in both, in order to help us achieve the animation effect.
The finished crops will need to be uploaded into a dropbox folder.
I would prefer to work with someone in the UK as I may need to speak to you on the phone. We ideally need you to be able to start on Friday 19th May.
Ideas for the visual style: Please see link to website
Urls to draw inspiration from: http://www.solvovir.co.uk/about-solvo-vir-2/
Where the design will be used: Website
Extra notes: There is a likelihood of further work following on from this, if you prove suitable and like working with us!

Hi Culwick
Do you want them to work just like they do on the website or do you want them to line up perfectly? On the website I think only Dom and Adrian line up nicely. Are you looking for all 30 to line up better so that they don't move? That's doable but will take longer and cost more than just cropping and ovelaying them.
Thanks
Chris
