Hi,
I have a list of processes in excel. Each process is defined by 3 categories: 1. an Area 2. P&L line within the area and 3. Activity within the P&L line. I'd like to build a pivot where the rows show these three categories and the columns show which work day of the month they need to be done (work day 1, 2, 3, 4, 5-15, etc.). The values will be the actual activity (text, not count or sum). I would also like color coding based on the areas.
Attached is a sample and sample layout. The real list has between 100-200 processes.
I saw this example online:

It's kind of what I'm looking for, but only has 1 row dimension when I'm looking for 3. It also may be a little too complicated and there could be easier ways to do this. I've attached the example that the author of the above article provided.
Please let me know if you have any questions or could do it. Ideally, I'd like to have a finished product next week some time.
Thank you,
Dan
