I need some icons extracted from a psd file

Experience Level: Entry
Design details: I have a psd file from which I'd like some icons extracted. They need to be 106x106 pixels as png, and a second set created from the first with a color tint representing an 'on hover' state for a website.

I've been told this should be a straightforward job but I don't use photoshop or GIMP.
