Freelance Jewellery [Jewelry] Designer

WHO WE ARE
- We are a new shoe brand that produces high-quality, daily wear women’s sandals with a little “twist”.

JOB
- We are looking for a passionate jewelry designer to effectively create various types of jewelry elements and styles for our sandals.

TASK / CHALLENGES
- Collaborate with us and translate / improve our ideas / sketches into final product designs
- Develop commercially viable ideas that match our product & design philosophy and aesthetic
- Execute and finalize technical drawings of proposed product to be used for production (2D renderings)
- If possible assist with production and sourcing of suitable manufacturers for the different styles (some production contacts exist)
- Create high quality every day wear jewel components / accessories at a competitive price point

YOUR SKILLS
- A portfolio demonstrating experience in jewelry design
- Ability to generate compelling ideas and a thorough understanding of design and production processes
- Ability to understand cost saving production processes
- Knowledge of various types / costs of crystals, precious stones, metals
- A certain base of gemological knowledge
