Education Progamme:-
Suggested work plan/proposal
A) Create a structure for delivery of MA Certificate, MA Diploma, MA Architecture and MPhil/PhD
both for Taught Programme classroom UK based and Research Programme National and International Distance Learning...
For this:
Write a set of programme regulations that will cover the main areas of admissions, student progression and awards. This will include supervisory arrangements and review points (especially for the MPhil/PhD) and when/how the student could exit with an interim award. This package will also include some information on issues such as complaints and appeals.
This structure will be broadly compliant with the QAA academic infrastructure.
The basic course design will be essentially neutral but will do a little research to install the architectural components for the MA Certificate, MA Diploma and MA Architecture.
In addition take account of practice in other architecture (and related design areas) doctoral programmes.
B) Create a structure to allow for the accreditation of prior learning
In this part:
Create a regulatory/guidance framework that provides a wider set of assessment regulations/guidance (both for tutors and students), that can be used to assess a students%u2019 prior learning/experience so as to assist in advanced entry onto both MA Certificate, MA Diploma, MA Architecture, MPhil and doctoral programme plus the complaints and appeals procedures and guidelines for examiners.
Again this will be broadly compatible with the QAA academic infrastructure and general practice elsewhere.
Provide research as required in order to customise to fit with the specific requirements of architecture courses and of expectations of professional practice in that field.
C) Construct a Student Handbook
In this part:
Prepare a students handbook that will act as a supplement to the formal regulations. This will draw on good practice elsewhere in the sector and provide guidance not just on the regulations but also on full provisions and expectations in terms of assessment, standards, plagiarism etc. also include programme features that include clearly; rationale, aims and objectives, structure, content, teaching methods, admissions policy, assessment policy and regulations, management of the course, staffing and staff development, learning resources and approaches to and arrangements for course monitoring and evaluation.
For these three projects, I will charge £200 per stage plus £ 50.00 for any of the included exras below and aim for delivery of (A) by early August, (C) late August and (B) early September.
Provide research as required using various professional sources such as HEA etc. to take this generic advice/structure and reflect the actual reality of delivering an architecture course.
Include a student tracking system, progress reporting system, checking over the language of the teaching material to see that it meets expectations in terms of level and how the learning outcomes are expressed.
with regards to above paragraph:-
This contract will be based on the £10.00 per hour fee in your original Peopleperhour bid...total contract price £ 650.00...
