Design details: Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this post.
I am looking for somebody with suitable electronics background and experience to develop a new product for me. Basically I am looking to develop my own weighing scale system, not too much different from a normal pair of bathroom scales.
Most normal bathroom scales will have 4 load cells, PCB and the battery as a power supply. What I am asking to be developed is something very similar to this.
Best way for me to illustrate my project is as follows: Think of a small coffee table with four legs. I would like for there to be a load cell attached to each one of the coffee table legs. The coffee table will only contain four load cells and female connector, nothing else. There will be a separate hand held unit which will contain PCB, battery and wire. When the wire of the handheld unit is plugged in to a small connector within the coffee table this will power on the scales. Anything that is then placed on top of the coffee table will be measured and the weight displayed on the handheld unit. There should be some type of button on the handheld unit allowing the customer to reset the scales should they need to and also choose between kilos and pounds as preferred weight measurement.
We have other applications for this technology so would like it to be possible for the scales to facilitate six load cells to be active and take weight measurement, not just four. Basically we have two models here, one with four load cells and one with six load cells.
I am looking for somebody to design all of the circuitry for this project and offer the necessary files to allow me to go ahead and mass-produce this product. I will need the PCB designing, BOM list and Gerber files etc.
I do not want to use pre manufactured modules for developing this project as for mass manufacturing this would be expensive, I would like to design from scratch.
I look forward to hearing from you all soon.
