Design a Narrowboat paint scheme

In November 2012 my Narrowboat, Sweet Chariot, is going in for re-painting and sign writing by professional painter, spiderworx.

I want to give them a design to follow. It mustn’t be too old fashioned, nor space age. I’m looking for something modern, yet with a traditional feel.

The sign writing will comprise the boat’s name Sweet Chariot, the English Rugby rose, the registration number and a few scrolls.

Things to bear in mind are that the roof is staying dark blue and the Hull below the rubbing strakes will be black.

The design process will comprise the following, which can be scheduled over a 6 week period:

- Rough ideas
- Worked up visuals of several ideas
- Chosen visual worked up with style guide

I’m looking for a designer to come up with a design and sign writing treatment. In addition to a fixed fee I’ll provide the winning bidder with a high resolution image of the finished result for their portfolio.
