Creating a timeline around 12 key dates in LGBT history

I would like to create a timeline that I will be putting into a powerpoint presentation for the training. I have 12 dates that need to go on the timeline and two below are exampes. in total there will be 12 dates. i would like it to be creative and visually stimulating and have attached some examples


1967 The sex between two men over 21 and ‘in private’ (in England and Wales only) is made legal

1971 The Nullity of Marriage Act is passed, explicitly banning same-sex marriages between same-sex couples in England and Wales.
