Description
Experience Level: Entry
As Timber Engineers, we design and manufacture several different types of components and buildings.
"SolidLox" is one of these (http://www.SolidLox.com)
We are thinking about producing a digital brochure that we can make available on-line and in a PDF version for e-mailing to enquirers. We might also print a few hard copies for visitors to our works, etc. Because of this we think we may need to keep the number of pages down to 8 or 12, but this will be dictated by the design.
One of our competitors 'Scotframe' produces a portfolio brochure (https://issuu.com/engineering-update/docs/scotframe_new_homes_portfolio_broch), but this merely lists products and features. What we want is something to 'sell' our brand as well as products.
We know that people buy 'SolidLox' garages, car ports and other buildings because they like the style - the 'Heritage' look, the 'Traditional Craftsmanship' and quality. Yes, they want the practicality of extra space, somewhere to put the car (and other things), additional living (or office) rooms, even a granny annex, games or teenager's apartment. But they buy 'SolidLox' because they want that 'something extra'.
This is what we want the brochure to offer so as to improve brand strength and secure up-market clients - either direct or through their architects and local builders.
We are attracted by BMW's "Life is a Statement" and "Individuality Meets Dynamics" appeals to customers.
We can't (yet) offer all of the 'nice to have' accoutrements, like luggage and kiddies toys, but we do offer a range of up-sales to suit each new building to it's surroundings and client's preferences, like roof shingles, tiles or slates; a range of external wall cladding which includes brick, render, and tile hanging, as well as timber; and so on.
Using primarily images and information from our website, but pulling in other 'classy' photos' of people, etc.(preferably royalty free), are you up to the challenge of turning what might be seen as a rather mundane, if not prosaic building product into something alive with poetry and persuasion?
If so, would you like to put forward suggestions with price/s, please?
We've been using PPH for years, so no problem with payments via them, but (after initial exchanges) I find it better to e-mail me direct - profb@benfieldatt.uk - 01291 437 050
