Extra notes: I am looking to start up a business catering for the petite ladies market, i.e. Women under 5.3ft. The age range of the target market is under 35s. I am looking for a designer to help create a line of clothing for Autumn/winter 2014 season inspired by catwalk AW 2014 fashion trends. I will require 15 pieces to be designed.
The finished sketches will be used to promote the business on Kickstarter crowd funding site. Please note as the Kickstarter campaign will only be promoted using the design sketches and not final samples, I am keen to work with a fashion designer who is able to create a clothing line that appeals to my target market effectively.
The types of clothes I’d like to see are high street styles and will be sold at high street prices but the range is only for petite women 5ft3inch and under. As you may already be aware the range of stylish/affordable clothing available for petite women is limited and I am keen to provide a variety of outfits based on seasonal trends to fit the petite frame. This means the clothes to be appropriately proportionate to fit a shorter person, shoulder, torso, sleeve length etc.
Requirement
I would be requiring full COLOUR, TECHNICAL DRAWING SPECIFICATIONS and mood/trend board for the season collection.
I would like detailed drawings ready for pattern making and manufacturing.
I would be looking to go into a longer term business relationship with the right designer if the campaign achieves funding goal.
Please get back to me ONLY IF YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:
1. Have relevant Experience doing full technical specs for manufacturers preferably in PETITE sized clothing. Sizes to be UK petite. I would expect you to provide the sizing block
2. Can grade each design from UK Petite size 6 - 12
2. Are familiar with the catwalk trends for Autumn/winter 2014
3. Charge fixed fee - I am looking to pay up to £30 per tech spec drawing
4. Can start the job asap
