Suit Trouser Alteration project

We are looking for a seamstress/tailor to alter 12 pairs of suit trousers in November, the trousers are range from sizes UK4-26. The idea is to make the waist and leg lengths adjustable for our customers to achieve the perfect fit. We will want to have 1 sample done at the hourly rate then agree on a production price for the other 11 units- we would ideally need the work completely within 1 week of receiving the trousers.

Machinery required- flat machine, buttonhole machine, overlocker.

Alterations required:

1. Waist adjuster- the trousers all need a flat drawstring adding around the waist (through the waistband) with a toggle (stitched in at 1 end/loose at the other) to tighten/loosen the waist.
2. Length adjuster- 12 buttonholes need adding at specific increments (2.8cm) on both the inside and outside side seams of the trousers and an overlocked fabric tab with a button adding. The customer will fold up the trouser to the length they want then fasten the button in the buttonhole on both sides of the leg.
