Design creative socks line for babies and toddlers

Babiesox is a new socks line for babies, toddlers and kids. It has been borne out of the frustration with the problems that characterises socks for babies. Babiesox has as a mission to produce socks that cover the following points which integrate quality manufacturing, design and knowledge about child development:

They stay on their feet
They give kids a story to play with
Let’s them use their fantasy
The socks can be mixed, so that the parents do not have to keep trying to find the matching sock
The socks have textures, which the babies can explore, great for their tactile development.

Hence, quality and creativity is key.

What we need

Babiesox products are split in lines. We want to create 2 or 3 lines for a start.

Each line must satisfy the following requirements:

It has a unique theme. E.g. dinosaurs, jungle, space, underwater world.
Each sok has at least one creature on it.
The sox within each line have similar or the same background and this background is different across lines. E.g. the space theme can have a particular kind of blue with stars. This makes the socks interchangeable within the same line. The parents don’t have to keep looking for the missing sock.

Finally, a more advanced requirement is the following:

Different socks within the same theme can be combined, so that they can create scenes. What’s a scene? A scene is a thematically coherent visual. For example, there might be 2 socks where the creatures play music. These two can be combined. Or, maybe there is 1 sock with a creature playing music and another one with a creature listening or dancing! Matching the socks in scenes can be like a game for the kids.
