I want make a painting/illustration/cartoon of a flood affected neighborhood. The painting will show heavy raining. On one end of the painting will be a young boy (Indian descent) collecting rain water in a bucket. The image represents the breaking down of the whole system. It shows nothing is working. There will be sign showing no food and no water. The young boy collecting rain water represents a helpless individual who cannot change the system. He doesn’t have the power to do anything yet he’s collecting rain water, which symbolizes the importance of taking small steps and not losing hope.
