Business Card Design - indiv person (no agency or shop) - USA/Canada person only

Industry: Lifestyle/Travel
Design details: Seeking person to design business card; absolute musts:
- An individual person I can establish a working relationship (no agency or shops - I do not want the job assigned to whoever is available)

- I'll need a few design concepts, and willing to pay for that time (I do not want cookie-cutter deals - again, a working relationship instead of a buyer/vendor cut and dry)

- Upon final design, I'll need original source file that I can edit (example: I envision the phone # changing and don't want to be stuck and not able to change a simple element such as phone #)

- Prefer USA/Canada designer (or foreign ex-pat) for the sake of understanding my culture (this puts intrinsic heart and soul into the design)

- OK with dropbox links to send files back/forth (of course, all emails through People per Hour). This works fantastic with my PPH photo editor.

My Business
My business is not a money-making venture. Instead, it is a hobby I love and passion - but I need a business card so people remember where on the web to find me.

I'm a non-degree whale and dolphin expert. I'm starting a website that advises travelers which whale watch companies to use across the USA West coast (including Mexico and Canada).

End of August, I'll have a website (sorry, nothing to share now to offer design inspiration). You can find my amateur Facebook site "Two Flukes Up"

I'v e been blessed with good photography skills and use those photos to create a bridge of interest with people. But photography is not my objective (partial objective sure). Primary is that when the website is built, I'll be a resource for people to use when searching which whale watch company to go with.

I'm not asking mock-up from anyone (that's not fair of your time). But please share work samples.

FYI: I'll use Vista Prints (or similar on-line company) to print the cards (mentioning that so you know I won't be using any fancy shaped cards etc).

The business card design will migrate to a letterhead stationary (but not right away).

No rush on this - I don't need 24 hour turn that so many people advertise. 1-2 weeks is totally OK.
