Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I am in the process of applying for planning permission for the replacement of 3 historical single glazing wooden sash windows at the rear of my London Victorian converted flat and 3 UPVc windows within a bay window at the front of the flat.
Planning have come back and said that they require drawings of the current (both types mentioned above) and proposed windows (wooden double glazed sash) which will be all the same for the purposes of planning.
For the proposed windows I have a DFX file from the manufacturer which has all the designs etc but just needs the dimensions changed and additional dimensions added for the thickness of the double glazing. I also have all cross sectional designs etc required for additional measurements.
For the historical wood sash windows, I have a copy of a previous planning application which has all the required designs that will need to be followed.
For the UPVc windows I have pictures however these windows just need to show the correct heights and thicknesses of the window etc as these are currently not in keeping with the conservation area.
In essence, we need 2 sets of current window drawings and 1 set of proposed drawings at a scale of 1:5 or 1:20 where relevant.
Does this sound like something you would be able to help with? If so I can send through the various designs etc that you will need in order for you to make a better assessments as to the work required
