Vectorworks 3D Model of Prefab Steel Frame

We are looking to fill this position ASAP. We would like to be complete with all 3 phases of the first prototype by the first week of February.

Background:

We are a Costa Rica based prefab design-build company and are extending our product line with prefabricated steel structures. The company has 2 ex-pat partners. One an experienced builder and the other an architect. We are looking for an experienced Vectorworks draftsman who can build a 3D BIM model of our new system and work with both of us to put plan sets and other documentation together.

We have started a 3D Model in Vectorworks 2017 of our first unit, which has to be reviewed for clean organisational set-up and extended. From the completed model we need a full set of architectural, structural and detail drawings of each part, for shop production. The model will be built in 3 phases: 1.) Structural Frame, 2.) Enclosure Systems, 3.) Finish Package

We are planning on several different size models with different roof forms and detailing, but mostly a similar kit of parts. As the models are completed, we will need artistic renderings and promotional drawings for our web site. There will also be a need for adaption of the template model for individual clients and projects.

Extra notes: The first priority is the completion of the base 3D model of the first steel structure, which is to begin construction within the next month. We need to complete the work and develop a full set of 2D drawings for parts production asap. We will supply a mock up of our drawing standards as a template to the chosen candidate.

Drawing Paper size 24x36 or 30x42 inches. Both the model file and a draft sheet set output in pdf format will be required for upload to our server by the end of each work day for backup and periodic review. All dimensions shall be provided in both imperial and metric equivalents.
Qualifications and skills
Excellent written and spoken English
Spanish can be of help but not strictly necessary
Proficiency with CAD program Vectorworks 2017 (software on your device)
Proficiency with 3D program such as Sketchup (ideal but optional)
Experience with Steel Structures and Construction in general
Work Time
• Hours. Must be available during the week for phone calls/ emails/ meetings, and work.
• Work to take place in your home office
