UK Structural Engineer Calculations and Drawings for Loft

UK Based structural engineer required to produce drawings and calculations for a mansard loft conversion and outrigger extension.

The property is a 2-storey mid-terrace period property, built from brick, in Stratford, East London.

Planning permission has been approved for a mansard roof over the main part of the house and a loft conversion over the rear outrigger section of the house.

I will also require a staircase leading up to the loft and this should be factored in to the calculations.

Plans and calculations must be produced to the satisfaction and requirements of building control.

It is important that the solution is engineered to be cost effective for construction, using readily available steel sizes, etc.

Full plans will be provided to the successful proposer.
