Estimated project duration: 3 - 4 weeks
I am a narrow gauge railway locomotive hobbyist. Currently, manufacturing a scaled version of the EUROSTAR. When finished. It will be some 4 metres long.

There will be 4 major parts to the work. You will present an overall price for the 4, itemising the price for each part.
they are:
Part 1: From technical drawings supplied. Produce 3D CAD drawings of the MAIN LOCO shell (This will consist of 4 parts )
Part 2: From technical drawings supplied, Produce 3D CAD drawings of the NOSE of the loco shell. (This will consist of 2
parts )
Part 3: From technical drawings supplied, Produce 3D CAD drawings of the carriage shell. Including base fixing the Bogies
(This will consist of 2 parts with 2 variants. One with all windows, the other windows and grilles. Check with pictures
below)
Further details of each part:
Part 1: Main body:- Main body, Engine cover, end of main body, support lip-strip of shaped metal, to support cover etc, and
pantograph section. Made from STEEL. Manufactured using water cutting CNC
Part 2: Nose Cone:- Made in 2 parts; upper and lower. Nose will be made from HIGH DENSITY POLYURETHANE FOAM.
Machined using several axis CNC Milling machine. Split mould made from machined foam; l will show you where the
split needs to be drawn and how it needs to be represented. Made from GLASS REINFORCED PLASTIC, using
moulding/hand lay up process. Machine codes will need to be embedded within drawings. They will be supplied.
Part 3: Carriage shell, end of Carriage body, with additional minor features. Made from STEEL. Manufactured using water
cutting CNC Main body:-
Part 4: Wheel chassis/Bogie chassis:- Made from STEEL. Manufactured using water cutting CNC. Several parts
To aid understanding a HORNBY plastic model will be sent to you along many technical drawings.
This is a basic specification and if you need further information, just message me. I am hoping to find someone to work with who is flexible and understands that there will be a need for several conversations to complete the project.
