Hi Jack, you need a goal post and a box frame not 3 beams. Please clarify.
Jack P.11 Nov 2019Hi Hayden, thank you for your message. I was hoping to contact you direct about this job as we had used you before but couldn't find your contact details. What do you mean about the goal post etc? The cavity wall that will be knocked through can be used as piers for the 2 beams go on each skin of the cavity? Please advise?
Many thanks
JackHaiden D.11 Nov 2019Hi Jack, Since the opening over the bi-fold is more than 3 m You need a goal post there and also instead of the removed wall since the piers are less than 55mm you need a box frame there. this is the rule. So please clarify.
