I need a someone to provide me with a cross section drawing of a wall for a planning application to install a grate on the front of my building. Below is what the planning officer has requested. The deadline for this is Friday so I must have this task completed tomorrow (17th)
"I need the section drawing to show the grille and the wall within which it will be installed. This does not need to be a full section of the entire building, but it does need to show the grille in situ, and its exact positioning within the external wall, such as its height above internal and external floor and ground levels and its distance from any windows below which it will be positioned. I therefore recommend that the drawing is at a scale of 1:5 and scoping the lower section of the ground floor only. It should also be annotated with all existing and proposed materials and finishes, and should show the method of fixing of the grille within the wall"
The proposal comprises the installation of a ventilation grill on the south elevation (wall) of Unit
88 of the ground floor of the Horse Hospital. Existing bricks will be carefully cut out to allow for the
grill to be fitted. The grille size is 229 x 152mm. The proposed grill is the 977 J&JW Longbottom foundry ornamental grill which is made of cast iron.
The wall is made of yellow stock brick laid in English bond. The grill will be fixed in place using mortar.
I have attached a front elevation which has some dimension on it and is 1:50 scale, but I need to supply the width measurement of the wall which I will supply on accepting you to complete the job. If there is anything else you need please let me know
