Product Engineer Needed. Mechanical / Injection Moulding

I’m developing a physical product and looking for a product/mechanical engineer to help bring it to life.

This is not just a simple CAD job... the product involves a custom internal mechanical system, so I need someone who can help think through and refine the mechanism, not just draw it.

Project involves:
• Developing a functional mechanism (moving/interlocking parts)
• Creating initial concept designs before final CAD
• Advising on manufacturability (likely injection moulding)
• Identifying potential design risks early

Ideal experience:
• Mechanical systems / moving parts
• Snap-fit, locking mechanisms, or similar designs
• Injection moulding / DFM (design for manufacture)

I’d prefer to work in stages. Starting with concept development, then moving into CAD and refinement.

Please include examples of similar work (mechanisms or physical products), not just general CAD.

Looking for someone who can contribute ideas and problem-solve, not just execute instructions.
