Description
Experience Level: Expert
I’m developing SlideSnap Pro, a golf training aid, and need a mechanical designer to turn my concept into CAD files for a first 3D-printed prototype.
The concept is a split sleeve that clips around an exposed golf shaft and slides along it. The prototype needs a secure split closure, low-friction guide pads, soft end buffers and a separate retaining collar. I’m also exploring magnets in the collar to control the sleeve’s release.
I need a functional prototype design, not just a 3D render. Please quote for reviewing the concept and creating an assembled CAD model, separate part files, editable native CAD, STEP and STL files, plus a dimensioned drawing. Please include one revision after manufacturer feedback.
Experience with moving parts, split housings, sliding mechanisms and 3D-printed parts is important. Please include relevant examples and a fixed-price quote. My target budget for this first stage is £100–£200; if that is not realistic, please explain what useful first step you can provide within that range.
I can share the concept drawing with shortlisted designers.
