LV Electrical Design Engineer

Our clients are currently looking for a contract electrical engineer to assist with the design of LV distribution and building services on their newest project for a period of circa 6 %u2013 9 months.

Skills Required:

- LV cable design experience
- Building services experience including:
- Design and specification of fire and intruder
- Design and specification of internal lighting for maintenance sheds, hangers, warehouses etc together with associated administration areas
- Design and specification of small power distribution (socket outlets, lighting circuits, etc.)

Computer literacy is essential, and experience of using computer-based design software for cable & lighting calculations would be advantageous.

The role involves design, specification and procurement of cable, control gear, building services equipment and associated items for low voltage power distribution & control for fixed industrial installations.

Knowledge of London Underground specifications etc. would be an advantage.
