The Brief
We are looking for an experienced graphic designer/ layout with brand build experience to assist us with finalising our company brand guidelines and converting raw MS doc. to finalised production level standard in QuarkXpress.
The Work
We have completed approximately 75% of our brand guidelines and in stage 1, we now require assistance for someone to bring this to a completed state. We are in a position to deliver up raw MS content which is nearly on brand, however, it now needs someone to go through the brand guidelines and bring them completely up to on brand status and complete the work.
In terms of collateral items, we are also asking you to illustrate the technical specifications for printers and others in the design and production field and as such you will be proficient in graphic design to a technical specification level. We will be asking you to rework or logo.
Your core skills:
• Proficient in working in QuarkXpress to print level standards
• Excellent attention to detail and an understanding of corporate brand identity
• An on-brand approach to writing
• The ability to take an idea and turn it into content
• Proof reading skills
• Experience of working to tight deadlines
• Loge design skills
• The ability to present your design ideas professionally and keep an audit trail of work.
The person we need to take on this role will have;
• A team mentality and strong communication skills
• A willingness to accept peer review of final copy
• The ability to work independently and take ownership of projects. Subject to performance we will ask you to move onto stage 2 of the Brand Guideline build.
• Good organisational and time management skills and the ability to work to deadlines within a marketing calendar
• Attention to detail and a can-do attitude
• Adequate IT at your site to fully support online collaboration.

Morning David, what version of QuarkXpress has been used to create your guidelines to date? Is it possible to see a PDF of what's been done? Thanks in advance
David D.14 Nov 2019at present we have done as much as we can in Word, Exel and Powerpoint so it is a basic document. What we now need is for a CAD person to start to bring it up to scratchy..
